The Weymouth 10 mile road race starts at Weymouth Pavilion and takes in the Esplanade and Bowleaze Cove.The course is mostly flat but does take in two hills on the approach to Bowleaze.
The race is a Dorset Road Race league fixture.
The course is well marshalled with two water stations and there is a 75 minute cut off time at the 5 mile point.
Every runner receives a medal at the finish line.
This year is the 64th year that the race has taken place.
