Low Fell Running Club annual 5km race has been moved a new venue for 1 year only- Whitehills Nature Park in Wrekenton (The usual venue Watergate Park is closed to organised events in 2026 for earthwork renovations.
The alternative work is the are used for Wrekenton Harrier League XC, and is a mostly flat 2 lap course on gravel paths.
The race will again host NEMAA 5km trail championship.
