Mandy Whittington Newent Nine 2026
An undulating 9.5 kilometre road race along the country
roads, starting at 10:30 am from Newent Community School. The route leads out
onto the scenic country lanes away from Newent, past the former International Birds of
Prey Centre on the outskirts of Cliffords Mesne, before looping back to Newent
where the race continues onto Foley Road, through the town centre, where many
buildings date back to the 13th century, past the half-timbered Market House
(built in 1668), finally returning to the finish line at the school.
