The Stafford
10K is a well-established and popular event in the Stafford
Borough Council's community calendar, attracting runners from
across the region and beyond. The event continues to grow year-on-year in terms
of participation and local engagement.

In 2022, the event returned post-COVID with 1, 400 runners on the day.

In 2024, participation grew to over 2, 000 entries, with approximately 1, 800
runners attending.

In 2025, participation
was 2100 entries with 1900 runners taking part on the day.

of planning entries are at 1500
The race takes
place over a certified 10K (6.2-mile) route, starting and
finishing on Tenterbanks in Stafford town centre. The course is
well supported by residents and spectators, with cheering zones throughout the
town and residential sections of the route.
