This year, 63, 000 incredible AJ Bell Great North Run participants will run from the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne to South Shields to fundraise, have fun, achieve a fitness goal, and join an amazing running community, no matter their experience or ability. This iconic race has welcomed millions of runners since 1981, and this year we mark an incredible 45 years of the famous event, and the biggest Great North Run yet! AJ Bell Great North Run X Mul is an exciting collaboration with Newcastle's very own street artist, Mul, to create a unique identity for the 2026 event
